What
are the products of The World & I Online?
The World & I Online began in 1986 as a monthly print magazine,
developed its four online sites during 2002-2003, and converted to
an online-only format in 2004. Our four websites are: WorldandI.com
for the general public, WorldandISchool.com for K-12 schools,
WorldandIHomeschool.com for homeschoolers, and WorldandIJournal.com
for colleges and public libraries. Each site includes the complete
collection of back-issue articles and special features tailored to
the needs of the specific audience.

your articles available online?
All articles published since January 1986 are available online, with
the exception of the few to which we do not own electronic rights.
Every month, new content is posted and the content from the previous
month’s issue is added to our archive. Click on “The World & I

everything from current events, the arts, literature, and science to

I tried to read an article in your eLibrary but couldn’t. Why not?
There are a few possible reasons. First, to generally view full text
you need to be a subscriber. Second, if you signed up for single
user economy access and happened to have closed out of our site and
returned to it right away, then it may say you are allowed only one
user; this is because the system takes up to ten minutes to
recognize that you left the site, so trying to re-enter right away
looks like a second person is trying to use the same access code.
Third, you may have to enable your Cookies function, so that your
computer can retain the memory of the username/password you type in.
To check your Cookies function, just click on the URL below and look
for the appropriate instructions.

How do I renew my
subscription?
Once you are logged in, click on “Renew” in the Login box in the
upper left corner of the homepage, which will take you to a renewal
form. You can then choose the option that is best for you.

How can I upgrade from single-user to multiple-user access to your
online site?
If you would like to upgrade to a higher-level access, you may
either check it on the renewal form from the “Renew” link in the
Login box in the upper left corner of the homepage, or call
toll-free 866-211-6040 to arrange it.

I couldn’t complete the process of signing up for a subscription.
Was my credit card charged?
We apologize for any problems you encountered with the subscription
process. The good news is that your credit card should not have been
charged if you could not complete the sign-up process. Please try
again, and be sure the data for all fields is valid. If the problem
persists, email
education@worldandi.com or call toll-free 866-211-6040 and we
will check on it.
